1. Acceptance, Consent and Use of the Platform

By creating an account, logging in, using Google login, submitting information, accessing the app, using trainer tools, viewing programs, recording workouts, resetting passwords, or otherwise using LiftyFifty, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this Privacy Policy and related platform terms.

Your continued use of LiftyFifty is treated as your consent to the collection, use, processing, storage and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, unless you withdraw consent where legally available.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must stop using LiftyFifty and should not submit personal information through the platform.

Google login information

If you use Google login, we may receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, name and profile image, depending on the permissions granted by Google.

4. Health, Fitness and Diet Disclaimer

Any workout, nutrition, diet, training or fitness information on the platform is provided for general informational and organisational purposes only. Users should consult a qualified doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist or other health professional before starting any workout, diet, supplement, weight-loss or fitness program, especially if they have injuries, medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, chronic illness or any health concerns.

You are responsible for deciding whether any exercise, diet guidance or training plan is suitable for your health, ability, circumstances and goals. Stop exercising immediately and seek medical help if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort or any concerning symptoms.

5. Trainer and Trainee Responsibilities

Trainers using LiftyFifty are responsible for the content, suitability and safety of plans, notes, instructions and guidance they provide to their trainees.

Trainees are responsible for using the platform safely, entering accurate information, following instructions appropriately, and seeking professional advice where required.

LiftyFifty provides software tools and record-keeping features. We do not guarantee any specific fitness, health, weight-loss, strength, body composition or performance outcome.

6. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information:

• To trainers, where the user is assigned to that trainer
• To the platform admin for account, support, safety and operational purposes
• To service providers such as hosting, database, email, authentication and security providers
• Where required by law, regulation, court order or lawful authority request
• To protect the rights, safety, property or security of LiftyFifty, users or others

We do not sell user personal information to advertisers.

7. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect user information, including password hashing, session controls, restricted admin access and server-side storage.

No online platform can guarantee absolute security. Users acknowledge that internet transmission and electronic storage carry inherent risks.

8. Cookies, Sessions and Automatic Consent Notice

LiftyFifty may use cookies, sessions, local storage and similar technologies to keep users logged in, manage account security, remember app state, support analytics and improve platform functionality.

By continuing to use the platform, users consent to the use of essential cookies and session technologies required for account login, security, password reset, Google authentication and app functionality.

Trainers and trainees may have different access permissions inside the platform. Trainers may only access information for trainees assigned to them. Admin access is restricted to authorised platform administration.

10. Account Suspension, Deletion and Retention

LiftyFifty may suspend, restrict, archive or delete accounts where necessary for security, non-payment, misuse, operational reasons, legal compliance or breach of platform rules.

Deleted or inactive account records may be retained in limited form where required to protect the platform, maintain audit records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiftyFifty, its owners, operators, directors, employees, contractors, trainers, affiliates, service providers and representatives are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss, damage, injury, claim, cost, expense, data loss, account loss, business loss, health issue, fitness injury, dietary issue, failed outcome or other harm arising from or connected with use of the platform.

This includes, without limitation, any reliance on workout plans, nutrition notes, trainer instructions, user-entered information, app availability, technical errors, unauthorised access, third-party services, Google login, email delivery, password reset links or data entered by users or trainers.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

12. User Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, each user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless LiftyFifty, its owners, operators, directors, employees, contractors, trainers, affiliates, service providers and representatives from and against any claim, demand, loss, damage, liability, cost, expense or proceeding arising out of or connected with:

• The user’s access to or use of the platform
• The user’s breach of this Privacy Policy or platform rules
• The user’s uploaded, submitted or entered information
• The user’s workout, diet, health, injury or fitness decisions
• Trainer instructions, trainee actions, or communications between users
• Misuse of accounts, passwords, login links or reset links
• Any unlawful, negligent, misleading, harmful or unauthorised conduct by the user

13. Third-Party Services

LiftyFifty may use third-party services including hosting providers, email providers, Google authentication, analytics tools and security services. Those third parties may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Children and Minimum Age

LiftyFifty is intended for users who are legally able to create an account and consent to these terms. If a minor uses the platform, a parent or guardian must provide consent and supervise use.

15. Changes to this Policy
